GENERAL INFORMATION

Official Language
The official presentation language is English. All lectures and documentation will be in the English language only.

Registration desk
A registration desk will be located in the lounge of Hotel Equator, Sunday February 17 from 20:00 to 23:00 to accommodate those flying in on late night KLM flights.

Registrations will also take place at the conference centre Monday February 18 from 8:00 to 8:45.

Audio-visual aids
Standard equipment available in the lecture room(s) is a presentation screen, PC with CD-rom and diskette, data projector, slide projector, overhead projector, flip chart, wireless microphone and lectern microphone.

Posters
Posters will be displayed on the boards in the Tausi Room at the AICC. The formal poster presentations are scheduled on Monday February 18, 2002 between 17:10 -18:00 hrs. and on Tuesday February 19, 2002 from 16:30 - 17:30 hrs. Please contact the registration desk for the location of your poster(s) and for questions or assistance.

Badges
You should consider your personal name badge as a valuable entry ticket. Please wear your badge at all times during the conference.

Messages, Lost and found
There is a secretariat next to the TAUSI room for messages or lost and found items

Hospital Facilities
Qualified staff and good services are available at the AICC/EAC Hospital

Liability
The congress organization nor the AICC cannot be held responsible for damage, loss or theft during the conference.

Coffee and tea breaks
During official breaks coffee and tea is served (included in the registration fee). Area will be announced at time of conference.

Lunch
Lunch is included in the registration fee. There will be a special lunch in the small museum outside the compound on Monday February 18. Other day lunches will be served within the conference centre at the times mentioned in the programme.

Social activities
Conference dinner Tuesday February 19, 2002
The conference dinner will be held at the Hotel IMPALA at 20:00. Transport has been arranged.
